Great rangefinder! I purchased it from Amazon last week and took it to the course today. The GX-II was easy to set up and learn how to use. Read Original Review Here

The Bushnell Yardage Pro Sport 450 Laser Rangefinder is one of the cheaper rangefinders available.
It has some nice features such as being compact and lightweight. It's also whether resilient, as it has technology that compensates for precipitation
The downside to the Bushnell Sport 450 is it's accuracy and distance. It has a maximum range of 150 yards, and some users report having trouble locking onto targets with any consistency.
Pros:
- Reads in both yards and meters
- Weather proof
- Lightweight and compact
- Cheap
Cons:
- No scanning feature
- Requires steady hands
- Doesn't work well under dim lighting
Overall the Bushnell 450 is a neat gadget for it's price, but better suited to a beginner golfer just starting out or perhaps sailing. For more serious golfers I'd recommend choosing one of the more advanced laser range finders available.

Originally picked this up to use on the golf course, but afterwards found out that even Bushnell says this is not the unit for golfers.

What really makes The Bushnell Tour V2 stand out is its pinpoint accuracy and consistency enabling you to range up to 300 yards. I've used it in all weather conditions ranging from sunny to cloudy, it has to date never given me an incorrect reading.

This review is from: Bushnell Tour V2 with Pinseeker Laser Rangefinder (Sports)
have used a skycaddie for two years. In fact, both only lasted about 6 months before they broke. In a panic, I bought a Bushnell V2 w/ Pinseeker the day before going to Pinehurst and played 4 rounds of golf with it, three of the courses I've never played before. It does everything Bushnell claims. Its very easy to use and the Pinseeker mode works perfectly.

I have tried many products to try to help my golf game, but none of them have been as effective at helping me reduce my score as the 1500 Pinseeker Laser Rangefinder from Bushnell.
I now realize why 90% of pros use Bushnell golf products. The points I have managed to shave off my game have been amazing.

Let's take a look at a some of the features:
- Can view up to 1500 yards, with an accuracy of one yard
- 7x magnification for a clear view
- Waterproof, so you don't have to worry about the rain
- 10 oz weight and compact size to easily fit in your pocket
- Clear LCD display
- "Pinseeker" technology so you'll always know how far the hole is
- If you want to buy this rangefinder, it's currently on sale at Amazon through this link
This device has helped me improve my game in many ways. The biggest improvement is knowing when to "play it safe" if I am facing a water hazard. Sometimes I'll think that I will be able to easily clear the water, but then I'll decide that I had better double-check with my Rangefinder. I'll aim the device at the other side of the pond and find out that it is actually out of my range. Where before my ball would have been destined to land in the lake, now I simply select another club and play it safe.
I'm amazed at how easily it's able to quickly locate the flag and tell me how far the hole is from my current location. This greatly aids in my club selection so I can land my shots as close to the hole as possible without any guesswork.
I would recommend the Bushnell 1500 Pinseeker Laser Rangefinder to anyone who is looking to shave some strokes off of his golf game.
